Workshop Competition
Each autumn, bids have been invited from the university’s academic staff for support to help fund workshops on leading edge subjects. The competition calls for bids that are multi-disciplinary, are likely to lead to significant advances, will attract international scholars, and are linked to current research at the University.

As part of its aim to foster interdisciplinary collaborations and encourage a flow of international scholars to visit the University of Surrey, the Institute of Advanced Studies established a Fellowship scheme in 2016. The scheme has enabled international scholars to spend time with University of Surrey academics pursuing research of mutual interest.
