The IAS Fellowship scheme enables scholars, artists, public servants and entrepreneurs to spend time with the University of Surrey academics pursuing research of mutual interest.
In 2024-25 the IAS will welcome 11 Fellows from across Europe, the USA and China. External academics, artists-in-residence and an entrepreneur will visit the University and work with its academics to explore topics such as trust in Generative AI technologies, animal-inspired robots that can monitor the ecosystem, and the psychology of ableism.
