Energy Decarbonisation: Technologies, Techniques and Opportunities to Enhance Efficiency and Finance Projects
The workshop will enable academics and people from industry and business to collaborate on research, ideas and feedback on the proposed approaches for setting energy targets and carbon prices.
This workshop is part of the Research and Innovation for Development in ASEAN (RIDA) project funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), UK, bringing collaborators from universities in the UK and ASEAN countries together to enable analysis of policies for energy decarbonisation. In this workshop, which is also part of Prof Dominic Foo's IAS Fellowship, approaches to decarbonising energy systems and their analysis will be discussed for the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and emerging nations' context, along with efficiency improvements for industry and market mechanisms for funding emissions mitigation projects.
