The IAS Fellowship scheme enables scholars, artists, public servants and entrepreneurs to spend time with the University of Surrey academics pursuing research of mutual interest.
The IAS will welcome 13 Fellows from across the world in 2026-27, including one artist in residence. In collaboration with Surrey’s academics, our Fellows will further research in areas such as sustainable and clean energy harvesting, tourist behaviour in emergencies, GenAI in healthcare modelling, and the use of historical technologies in the digital age to create contemporary music.
